Life is without meaning. You bring the meaning to it.
The meaning of life is whatever you ascribe it to be.
Being alive is meaning. People say that what we’re all seeking is a meaning for life.
I don’t think that’s what we’re really seeking. I think that what we’re seeking is
an experience of being alive,
so that our life experiences will have resonances within own innermost being and reality,
so that we actually feel the rapture of being alive.

-Joseph Campbell

My name is Jenna and I am so thrilled you stopped by! This blog is an invitation to pause and feel inspired to create meaning in every day living. Life is filled with magic and my hope is to capture as much of it as I can.  One unknown artist wrote, “I like the smell of earth, the touch of waves, the taste of berries, the sight of trees, the sound of laughter, and the feeling of being fully alive…” I guess I couldn’t relate more.

I am a photographer and yoga instructor in New York City and will travel anywhere for a good photo shoot. In my free time I am a volunteer writing coach for Incarcerated Victims, an awesome initiative to help prisoners write better. At the end of September I will start training to become an end of life Doula with The Doula Program and look forward to offering care and comfort to individuals facing life threatening illnesses.

What is happening in your innermost self is worthy of your entire love;
somehow you must find a way to work at it.
